MTCI President and CEO Dalena Kanouse was hailed for her “selfless” spirit by the mayor at the recent Prince William Chamber of Commerce Business Awards ceremony. Mayor Hal Parrish awarded Dalena and MTCI with the city’s inaugural Business of the Year award.
MTCI has been recertified as a business owned, controlled, and operated by a woman by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), the first national certifier of Women Business Enterprises. Certification of woman-owned business is the result of over 700 public and private sector individuals participating in the establishment of standards and procedures for this rigid certification review.
