
Kent has completed a 29 year career in the military retiring as a Colonel from the Army National Guard full time support force in May 2007. During his career he held numerous high level command and staff positions. Kent commanded at the Platoon, Battery, Battalion and Brigade levels. He also commanded numerous staffs as he functioned in executive officer positions as those levels as well. Kent also held critical assignments as Assistant Chief of Staff for the New Jersey Army National Guard, The Director of Personnel and Community Services (G1) for the New Jersey Army National Guard for three years and he culminated his career with his final assignment as the Director of Human Resources (G1, ARNG) for the Army National Guard in Arlington, VA for two years. Kent came to MTCI after his retirement from the military in 2007 where he functioned as the Vice President of the Northeast Region for MTCI. He was appointed as the CEO of MTCI in June of 2008. His baccalaureate degree is from York College of Pennsylvania and received a Masters Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University in May 2007.
