Charles Barros Jr. - Director of Contract Operations

Mr. Charles Barros joined MTCI in 2011 as the Director of Contract Operations. With full support of MTCI's Executive Team, Mr. Barros provides direction and structure for the management of all contracts, implementing improved process and management methods to generate higher Return of Investment and workflow optimization for our clients. In this capacity he serves as a mentor, providing guidance and direction to MTCI's program managers. Mr. Barros brings over 22 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting and 16 years managing multi-million dollar, federal government contracts and task orders. Throughout his years in government contracting, Mr. Barros has held various positions with increasing responsibility including Program Manager, Contract Manager and Project Management/Supervisor on a variety of programs supporting the U.S. Army, Army National Guard and other DoD customers.

Mr. Barros successfully leverages his expertise with manpower studies, workflow and organizational analysis and personnel management to provide corporate oversight and productive management support on all MTCI contracts. His demonstrated experience in managing multiple task orders throughout the United States ensures that MTCI meets and exceeds requirements on all contracts.

Mr. Barros earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and holds a Masters of Business Administration, Technical Management from the University of Phoenix. He currently has Secret Security Clearance.
